Hi there!

Thanks for the kind welcome in GloboSapiens community:-)
I'm happy to be here. It's good to have some online friends who love the same things-good adventures and good photos.
Best greetings from Cracow and Happy Easter as well:-)

Glad to read that you would like to visit Bilbao. You will love that city, especially the old quarter.
Twenty years ago Bilbao was an unattractive city, with plenty of factories and pollution. But now it is lovely! Before Bilbao was the Ugly Duck, but now is a Wonderful Swan.
I enjoyed looking at the pictures de tu viaje por Sudamerica!

Hello again

Hey Rafal,
I'm just going o KL; I don't have much time to explore further afield, maybe on another trip. I classify this as a city break not really a holiday.
Anyway, speak to you in a couple of weeks.
All the best

Destinations

So far, I drew inspirations from fellow travellers combined with the UNESCO World Heritage List. As soon as I ventured to Madagascar and then to West Africa I fell in love with this continent, so for a number of years, I focused my travels there. I know that this is silly perhaps, but there have been a number of publications re world wonders, etc. I have a couple. Some photos there are so stunning that I cannot restrain myself and I go there. Obviously, political situation also plays its role. I am so miffed that I had not gone to Iraq when it was safe before the US invasion. So now I am rushing to Iran, just in case the sanctions worsen and God knows what else is going to happen.
You will love Eritrea. I guarantee it!

Following footsteps

Hehe, it really looks like one of us has been following footsteps of the other. Have you been to The Sudan? Rafale, how do you make a decision where to go?

Hey Rafal,
I wasn't sure whether you were back. But thanks for your well wishes.
I've been really lucky over the last few years and travelled to some exotic places - so it has been really nice sharing with all my friends here at Globo.
I don't suppose I will have the number one spot very long, but at least it was an achievement.
All the best

Salar de Uyani

I've been reading your travel log with great interest the last week. I've always wanted to go to see the great salt flats of salar de uyani.
Great log, keep it up. It breaks up the monotony of my job!
