Okavango Delta
Posted: 2010-04-27 08:05 AM
Hi Tony,
Many thanks for reading and rating my report on Botswana's Okavango Delta. It was a great trip, indeed. I am not sure if the story that Princes Will and Harry also did the mokoro and walking trip like me was true... but let me believe it was. ;)
I hope you are well.
Kindest regards
Krys
p.s. I am cast-free as of yesterday. My arm is stiff, however and I would need to work very hard to restore the normal range of movement... So, still frustrating.

I am so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you will get better soon.
My arm appears to be healing as expected... but they did not let me see the wound with my stitches. I am not sure why.
Kindest regards,
Krys

Cheers Tony for the ROM congrats. This award came so unexpected and in such a time, when I needed a pat on my back...
Anyway, my arm is apparently healing well. That is good, as I have material on Tunisia that I would love to share, but typing with one hand is no fun at all!
Kindest regards

Hi Tony,

I just heard that you will visit Germany, can't you make a stop between Cologne and Mannheim? There are some nice places, where we could meet.

Thanks for your kind comment on my MoM. Interested to see your house. We lived in Velwell Road overlooking the University from 1961 for one year, whilst I was doing my Grad. Cert. Ed

Warwick

Hi Tony,
Many thanks for your stars and comments. It was funny how I went on imagining that Warwick would be an exceptionally picturesque medieval place with the castle in the centre. And it was not so! I guess I did not manage my own expectations, hehe.
It was not too bad, but it was very very quiet, and getting food in the second half of Saturday's afternoon was a challenge... I loved the castle, but I have this strange fetish for castles anyway. I think it was expensive to visit it, but I was impressed that they made sure visitors got most for their money - the interiors were well kept and full of expositions, and one could wander almost everywhere inside and outside the structure.
I should now try to write a couple of reports about Devon and Cornwall... ;) I think I have enough photos and data!
Kind regards

for your congratulation. I had to tell more than I could fill into the report. It was a special trip.
