Night shots

Tara,
One thing I can recommend about night photography is to use a stable tripod. Even with a compact camera you can take excellent pictures provided the setup is stable.

Hey Tara,
You have provided some nice pictures and reports this month of your journey to South America. I'm glad you got MOM after such a long time away.
Amanda
PS I was being a bit nosey and checked out your blog; I liked your pictures of Iguassu, the weather seemed so overcast, like when I was there. But it does look like you had some good fortune of blue skies.

Hi Tara
Warm congratulations on a very well earned MoM. Thanks for keeping some cheer going through what have been miserable months for weather in this part of the world.

Hi Tara,
I just watched your photos from Peru/Bolivia/Ecuador. I must say that I am impressed. Beautiful. And moreover I am very happy that you posted this photos beacause next week I am going for holidays to Chile/Bolivia, so some of your photos helped me a lot to make some changes in my trip. I just can't wait to see Salar de Uyuni :))
Can you just write me some more about "most dangerous road in the world" I read someting about it but I haven't time to look for the details.
Cheers

Tara,
I know you have already signed my guest book. But other your individual pictures and the slideshow is truly worthy of winning an award.
They both have been a joy to watch.
All the best

Tara
very well done. I notice you have an irish name.
Your POM is a great burst of colour on the home page and the name of the starfish "firebrick" is very evocative
