Goreme - Turkey, Nev¶ehir The largest and oldest (late 10-early 11C) Open Museum Church is actually four separate chapels on two levels, now just one big room as the walls between them have disintegrated. The list of religious paintings is exhaustive. Each church had its own color scheme the most famous the "new church" with bright blue featuring St Basil and the Miracles of Jesus.
