Tips traveling to Barcelona! Coming back from a trip to Spain for two months, I learned a thing or two about traveling around the city. Some of Barcelonas best restaurants and nightclubs, and well as tourist traps that are easy to fall into!

I recently got back from a summer trip to Barcelona. I was a little apprehensive because I don't speak too much Spanish and had never been out of the country. As a whole the trip was a complete success. My friends and I traveled around the city; saw Gaudi's most famous works, checked out the beaches, and had some of the best tapas in town. The nightlife was also incredible, Razmatazz was one of our favorites as well as Opium Mar. Seeing that we're all students; we were definitely on a budget while traveling. We all ordered Connect Club cards before we left on their website (www.connectclub.com-) and saved hundreds of dollars. We enjoyed free entrance to clubs, free drinks at meals, and incredible discounts on museums and tour rentals. Our trip couldn't have been a better experience, we got to stop at all of the must see tourist attractions and we saved money at the same time. Some of our favorite places were the Gothic and Born areas. Be careful on Las Ramblas, although it is exciting to see, it tends to be a tourist trap, you will spend 10+ euros on a drink!

What's really great: |
My favorite part of Spain were the amazing surroundings and neverending tourist attractitions. In Barcelona you can spend one day jam packed with Museum and tourist visits, and the next you can spend relaxing on the beach. The possibilities while travelling are endless!

Restaurants: |
All of the restaurants we dined at in Barcelona were delicious, some of our favorites were Dionisos (Av. Marquès de l´Argentera 27 08003 - Barcelona), a wonderful, authentic greek restaurant with a diverse menu and great service. Ikibana was another favorite of ours (Passeig Picasso 32 08003 - Barcelona), we were looking for a great sushi place and we couldn't have asked for anything better! Located right on the beach, the sushi was as fresh as could be. There's other offerings on the menu as well but I would definitely recommend the Sushi and Sashimi. Enjoy great discounts on both restaurants with your Connect Club card!
