Copenhagen is the capital of the kingdom of Denmark. It houses just around 1.5 million people including the suburbs, thus making it the largest city in Scandinavia. It is located on the eastern most edge of the island known as zeeland, the largest island (not counting Greenland) in Denmark. The infrastructure of Copenhagen is very well functioning, lots of busses, though not as many or as good as in the Neatherlands, trains, bycicle cabs as well as a large system of rent-a-bike, on the street for free. The prices are high a usual middle classed dinner at a restaurant will easily cost you around 15$, pizzas and junkfood meals at around 5$. Generally erveryone speaks more or less fluent english, particulary the young people. Quite a number of people will also speak German or french.

Favourite spots: |
My favourite spots will have to be Christiania, a free town within Copenhagen, where you can simply chill out, listen to music, go to bars, restaurants or buy a little weed in public. Do not avoid going there, practically no violent crimes are ever committed and all manner of people meet here to relax and hang out. Papa Hotel. Papa Hotel is also an outdoors place, an artificial beach and large outdoors speakers that supplies you with layed back chill out or lounge music. Open grill and beach chairs. Located right next to the mall fisketorvet and the S-train station Dybølsbro near, not to say in the water, a definate must go during the summertime.
