Innsbruck is one of the most visited town in Austria, even though it's qite small but its charm will make you love it and want to go back there again after your first visit.
|
I went to Innsbruck by train and stay there for only 1 night. I guess it's enough as It's a small town where you can easily walk through in 1 day. In Old Town there's a golden roof, it's not as big as I expect. When I got there, I didn't realize that I was standing in front of the roof as it's not big but because of big crowds make me realize that I'm already there.

Favourite spots: |
There's a street which links from walking area of golden roof. From there, if you walk about 1 km and turn back, take photo, you will get a nice shot as you could see fountain along the road and your background is the mountain.

What's really great: |
I found Insbruck is one of the most romantic town in Europe. Maybe because of its own situation, circled by the mountain. Just sit there and watch people (most of them are tourists from all over the world)walking is already wonderful enough

Accommodations: |
I have booked a hotel called,, Innsbruck Inn,, through our travel agency in Thailand. They have told me that this is a 3 stars hotel. I don't really mind as I plan to stay there only for a night. Surprising when I got there, there's no way in...habe to wait outside the door for a couple minutes and then there's a lady unlocked the door and welcomed us. Not a good start I think. 3 stars hotel in Thailand is better than this. I maybe gave this hotel only 2 stars. After waiting for check-in, we got the room on the second floor. Quite surprised that the room is clean and cosy.
So I would recommend this hotel to budget traveller.

Restaurants: |
There's a chinese reataurant, don't remember what it's called but it's only 5 minutes walk from Golden Roof. I had lunch there and quite like it. They serve buffet, all you can eat during lunch for 6.99 Euros per person. There's a variety of food, rice, fried rice, fried noodles, chinese style fried vegetables, fried chicken, soup, noodle soup.etc.
