I went to school in Paris at the Sorbonne for 6 weeks and lived in Paris for almost 3 months. Paris is a beautiful city full of parks, shopping, museums, and lots of people with cars that make pollution. It is a fantastic place to visit...just make sure you give yourself enough time to breathe some fresh air =)

Favourite spots: |
My favorite spots would be the parks...it is a great place to people watch, relax, have a yummy picnic and read a good book. You can easliy find parks all over paris....no problem! Parks I personally suggest are... -Place des Vosges -Jardin du Luxenbourg -Parc du Champs de Mars

What's really great: |
Something special about Paris is that it has a great train station that can take you virtually anywhere in Europe in less than a day. 6 hours south and you are in the south of France, 3 hours north and you can have a visit in Amsterdam.

Sights: |
If you hop on line 13 of the Metro and exit the second to last stop towards Saint Denis...I believe it is called Hotel Ville...there is an amazing Cathedral definately worth visiting.

|
Other recommendations: |
Never hesitate to stop by a boulangerie and pick up a baguette some cheese and a bottle of wine...go to the park and enjoy a typical French outing.
