Gyumri - Armenia, Gyumri The Khachkars are everywhere in Armenia. In the past, long long ago, many centuries before other tribes came to install themselves in the Anatolia Peninsula, there were many thousands of them in the territory that belonged to Armenia. The Armenians are denouncing to the UNESCO that many of such beautiful Khachkars are being destroyed in present Azerbaijan.
