Amanda, If you like destination books I suggest Three Cups of Tea by Mortenson who is an Alpine climber who established the Central Asia Institute and he has single handidly built hundreds of schools for children in impoverished areas in remote Pakistan and Afganistan. He is presumed to be a future Nobel peace price winner.
