GLOBO announces first member for space?

Posted: 2006-02-17 03:54 PM
Kerrie,
....see also you have a brilliant new profile picture. Please tell us about it. A museum shot or a test flight? Light shoes are allowed? I would pay a lot to experience flight beyound the sound barrier, Concorde gone, russia has a tourist "hand-on sub-sonic and ultra-sonic experiences deal beyound our budgets! A parabolic flight service/experience is becoming cheaper and interesting in France.

We can well magine that one day a GLOBOmember will be training as space tourist, it is only a few years away!

Andalucía

Hi Kerrie
Thanks for your message. I've been to Andalucia seven times - Malaga is almost always possible for a cheap flight from one of the airports within striking distance of here - £57 this time; considerably less than the train to London.
I love it there and I've done some fairly copious notes about it, if you would like to let me have your personal e-mail address.
Have you been before? If not, there really are places you shouldn't miss seeing - it's a tiny bit further for you after all.
Cheers, David

Alto Alentejo

Hi Kerrie
Thanks for your message. I'm going to an even less known area at the end of the month. masses of tourists pour into Málaga airport in Andalucía but the vast majority head for the coast Of the rest the vast majority head well inland [as I always have before] to the great cities of Granada, Sevilla and Córdoba or to the White Villages of the Ronda area.
Until the last ten years there was virtually no tourism in Axarquía, much nearer to Málaga and it was known, if at all, as a haunt of bandits. Even now it's far harder to find a hotel on the web than for any other area of Iberia that I've tried.
Cheers
David

Your Cambodia sliseshow - brave decision

Posted: 2006-01-29 04:38 PM
Hi Kerrie
To say that I enjoyed this would make me some sort of pervert but I thought you might like to know that I agree with your reasoning about showing it and found some parts vety emotive.
After seeing the pics individually I didn't want to look at them together but felt I ought to. I'm glad you finished with the hopeful one.
Many thanks
David
