Hi Kerrie

Thank you for your comment about my kathmandu slide show. It gives me some more encouragement to write a report about it...
I'd love to go back there to but at the moment I'm not sure how safe it is with all these uprisings.

I agree with you that people and details are an important subject matter in travel photography. What I like when going to "developping countries" where it's warm, is that Life in the streets is vibrant and there is so much going on you really get involved pretty easily. These people don't sit in front of the TV and computer the whole day and being involved in the rat race, like we "civilised" people do.

Actually I was only in Beijing for a long weekend. I lived in Japan at the time and it was a short (4.5 hour) flight from Tokyo to Beijing. So I flew out Thursday night and returned the following Monday night. It was tiring but a lot of fun.

Hi Kerrie,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I've contacted some Mexican members... no of them replied.

I've also contacted some Mexican friends, but sometimes it's easier to have a broader impression when your view is not used to the place.

Hopefully I've got some new and very interesting information, surely I'll find the right way.

Take care,
Ingrid

Hi Kerrie,

This is Ingrid again.

I enjoyed your reports about Mexico, I am looking for information about rural tourism there.
From your vast experiences, can you recommend me some place that I could take as a positive case study? Did you also knew any remarkable Tourism Institution in your way that I should contact?

Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
Ingrid

Dear Kerrie,

glad you liked my report on Mykonos, I really loved it there. Have you been to any other Greek Islands? Which ones do you recommend? I don't really need nightlife, but there should be something else to visit apart from just beaches.

thanks again,

Sabine
