Hi Vicki-you made an awesome slide show about amimals in the Bahamian Zoo.The parrots are very colorful, and i can see from their feather they had a good care from their zoo keepers. I have had a lot of enjoiment looking at all of this rare and wonderful animals.Excellent and outstanding performance!

Unfortunately,i don't train dog's professionally any more, but i had spent some time training (only abidiance training and some tricks ) my own doggy- i have American pitt bull, wonderful friend and companion. You can see image of his on my San Francisco Parks-Stern Grove.

Talk to you soon.Have fun and enjoy life.

Beau Bahamas Vicki

Only having visited Grand Bahama Island, like your pictures from down south very much, see that the water of a such beautiful colour around Nassau too. Funny isnt it, so different and yet only a few hundred kilometers from the continent. Amazing is that in some of your pictures the sea is a lighter blue than the sky - this, not typical at most places around the globe!

Also, with difficulty and only after your tips, I found St. Martins and Fundy National Park in my (recommended Walmart Rand McNally) map. Your Hopewell Cape isnt on the map so I have marked it there as "Spaceout Rocks"! While ive only considered visiting Vancouver and British Columbia next in Canada, now see that the Atlantic Provinces, specially Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia have so much to offer, well Canada evermore generally, perhaps a camper tour east to west is best...

Life was as in Paradise

Posted: 2005-02-14 05:30 PM
Bonjour Vicki
You can't even imagine, how life for me,as a child was back then in Communist Russia. My grandfather was a high ranking officer-retired from his duties and and we lived in very large mansion like appartment-aprox. 170. sq.miters with a wonderful front and back gardens,so the cages with the rabbits has been in our back garden (he has been rasing rabbits and parrots for the breeding and turnaments),also he has been teaching me the gardening as well. And to add to this,we at the same time has been training German Shepards for the border contorl work-the same training as police dogs.I have been profesionally training dogs for about 10 years.
So,the life for me as a child with all of this pets was as living in Paradise....and i had learn a little bit of gardening as well.

Best wishes to you and your close ones.

Hey Viki
Very pleasant animal images,i have enjoyed looking at them a lot-especially the parrots. You know ,back in my country, for a long time we have had (believe it or not) 60 parrots,90 rabbits,2 dogs,2 cats and.....a hedgehog,he lived with us for years.
Can't wait for your slides, are they going to be soon?

Wish you luck
