Christian, thank you for the compliment - that butterfly followed me for several minutes through the rain forest then lighted on my nose. He actually stayed there for a while!

I like your pictures of Boston & NY, specially the scenes from ESB and of rush-hour (an experience :-), when I was in those cities they were foggy and overcast...

Yes, it has taken me a while, and I am still learning to navgate Globalsapiens. Look forward to posting more as time permits - regrettably, time is the one commodity I lack! Thanks for your welcome ;-)

I'm not really a hanglider pilot (yet). I do have been a glider pilot (gliders are "normal" planes without engines and a bit more aerodynamically built). But that has been sadly enough, years ago. I will have to redo it soon, I love flying!!
What I did do in Annecy was following a whole day-course in which we had to practice running off a small hill in the morning. This gave us a first feeling of how things went and were done.
In the afternoon I jumped in a duoseat with the teacher. We stayed up for about a whole hour, in stead of the forseen half hour. It was just awsome. But I had done it once before.
In a couple of days I will decide if I'm going back to Annecy in the next couple of months to follow a 5 day course in which you really get to go solo after a few days.
Annecy really is a great place. The instructor told me the mountains gave an awsome climate with almost no bad weather and if so, never for more than just a few days.

Ha! I just realized that I have already written to you about this, so please forgive my enthusiastic appreciation. I get busy during the week, and try to get back to anyone who writes to me.
I teach at a technology college, and classes began 3 days after I returned from Las Vegas. I am just beginning to get myself together. I have just been improvising until now!
