Martin,
Your first holiday with your youngest daughter. Lots of photos, I suppose.
Yes, we were extremely lucky with the weather in Tunisia, clear blue skies and a pleasnat 25 - 28 degrees. This was our third. once in July and Auguat, the second visit was in February. That was also very pleasant, also clear blue sky.
I totally enjoy your photos especially those of Provence. I read all Peter Mayle books on Provence and lived through the pages of the books. It is nice to have such vivid visuals aside from the other internet photographs.
best regards,
zellah

thank you for the feedback. I am trying out some manual settings with the new DSLR in combination with the zoom lense. I like to play with focus settings and close ups. Works great with the 200mm zoom :-) The cam also has a kit lense which is not that great, there is a significant difference between the 70-200 f4 L and the kit lense. I was looking for another lense to replace that kit lense (cam without kit was just 20€ cheaper), but the lenses are incredibly expensive! I could not believe the prices I saw first. So the kit lense has to do it for a while now in combinantion with the L zoom lense :-) You have been right about the daypack. I picked the bigger one and still believe it is to small :-) Would be great if they had provided a bigger upper compartment, instead the bigger version has more space for camera gear. Will see how it works in praktise during my next trip :-)

Hi Martin,
... and you only hear the murmur of the water and the wind singing in the trees ... and you look out over the Paro valley down below ... and it is quiet that you can hear your soul speaking ...
Take the next plane as fast as possible, go when in springtime the rhodendron is blooming and the world is new.

Hi Martin
Hieronyma has asked a question in my guestbook about uploading photos of cities in Syria which are not on here but where it's difficult to suggest a new place.
I wonder whether you might be able to help and I've told her I'll enlist your aid. You'll see the only sugggestion I could make in her messages.
Cheers
David

I couldn't resist to take this photo. Although I think the women in this country are fairly free. But this one seems to have suffered a lifetime.
