I have been looking thru your excellent pics and would like add a little personal experience, I visited Agadir not long after the earthquake tragedy (a few years later) and was made very welcome, it was explained that the first relief planes were full of British Tommies and medical staff, other countries arrived later but the people who were displaced all felt kindly towards the English and was invited to visit many families, no ulterior motives, I was travelling independantly and much enjoyed the hospitality of these proud people, Regards, Tony.

Thanks for the info, many years ago the only place that you could buy alcohol was the government Uni Prix or in hotels. In the cafes it was banned and drinking in any public place was to invite outrage from the local imam. Times have obviously changed a lot!!, Regards, Tony.

Hi Sabine,
It was great to see and read something from you. Pictures are very nice and report was as always brilliant. Morocco (for the moment) is not on my wish list, but thanks to you I feel like I was there. Looking forward to see more from you.
Have a nice evening
Rafal
Thanks for rating my report; I too only wanted to go there to see volcanoes. I was a little disappointed as Mother Pele was uncooperative, it was quite quiet with no eruptions. Methinks I will have to return one day.
