danke für dein Mallorca-Album. Though I am German I haven't been on the island yet ;-). It looks nicely Spanish on your pics.
Have a very good new year - Petra

hi sabine,
thanks for your wishes and sadly my friend has passed away, and am unable to be there at the wake in view of the very short notice.
speak soon,

Sabine, thanks for your comments on my above mentioned report.
Well, I have to confess that had I not been so short of money I would have preferred to sleep in a cheap hotel (or Youth Hostel) in Yellowknife, instead of the Salvation Army with dozens of Inuit people snoring like horses, and eating every day peanuts buttered sandwiches.
Soon I will post some more Great Slave Lake pictures, just for you.
I just can't wait to read yours two outstanding reports about Mexico. It is always a great time during reading your reports. Also your pictures are great - constantly high quality, some members seems to upload whatever they have.
Thanks for rating my pictures and somments. I think that something weird happened lately with Globosapiens, not too many members rating the photos, discussing... I don't know why but it is pity. I remember that when I joined to Globo I always had so many ratings and comments. So that's why your comments are so precious for me.
It was a good year for travels for me. I loved Bolivia, China was georgeous world of Balcan countries was unforgettable and Mons Klint in Danemark ...
I hope that next year will be even better, but for the moment I am quite busy at work so not to many time to prepare future trips... Also It is coming Christmas time - for family and friends, and I still have a lot of gifts to buy :)

Hi Sabine
Thanks for your comments on two of my reports. I am not sure we should have been to the Færoes, if we had to pay for accommodation as well but yes, it's a great venue.
Portugal is a very different matter - rail transport is particularly cheap; fod and accommodation are mid-priced.
I have written a number of reports on here and I find it hard to pick a favourite. It would seem odd not to see Lisbon on a first visit, particularly when it is the easiest for flights but after that - what a choice!
Cheers
David

So, Sabine, it sounds like you and I are the same! :)
If there is breakfast delivered, I take it and if it is good, it can last me the entire day...

Thanks for your welcome message. I have a lot of work to do this month. So I have not much time to write about my travels. But I do my best.
Kind regards,
Henny.
