Hi Ravi,
It's been a while since I contributed to GloboSapiens. I just returned from another trip to Las Vegas. I'm planning to move there in June. I have a teaching job that begins June 12. I have been very busy here in Seattle, trying to get this house ready to sell. And I am teaching at the same time.
I am happy that you enjoyed the photos from the Valley of Fire. It is an extraordinary place, with miles of hiking trails. I am sure I will go there often when I live in Las Vegas.
Also, within driving distance, is the Grand Canyon, the ancient Anasazi Indian ruins, and the national parks in Utah. It is only 6 hours to Los Angeles.

I just wanted to say thanks for your comments on my Osaka report which won ROM. It took a lot of work but it's nice to be noticed for it. Thanks!

I put a some more photos in the Florida 2006 album. Unfortunately I did not take many pictures, it was the end of my trip, and my film.
Thanks for reading and rating my Panjim report. Did you ever visit Goa? We enjoyed it very much because this state has far more to offer than sea and sun.
We also travelled in Kerala, which is different in charcter.
Just a question. We quite often saw: Margin Free Supermarket. What are these? As far as I remenber we only saw them in Kerala.

Hi Ravi
Thanks for your comment. Alhama is a wonderful place and I wish I'd been able to stay longer and do a fuller report.
Cheers, David
I suppose it is possible to give panoramic aerial views of Rio by going up Morro da Urca and Sugar Loaf Mountain or even at the Christ the Redeemer. But it's fantastic to take a helicopter ride.
