I am 68yrs old and still very fit but I had an accident in Feb 2009 from which I am now fully recovered physically but it resulted in some brain damage (stroke) and I have permanently lost around 50% of my peripheral vision so that my travel activities are severely curtailed, I therefore rely on Globo members for most of my adventures (by proxy) and your excellently written reports are a real tonic to me, Kind Regards, Tony.

hey hola, que tal, I think it is quite a long time ago that we met here at the same time. are you doing fine? found a new job already? new travels planed? going where? last time I read about Wakhan corridor - do you know where this is? Matthieu Paley, a famous photograher displaed some pics on his site... wow its a real remote place... but I think it can be difficult to interest my wife on such a travel :-) buena suerte my friend.

thanks for reading and rating my report on Essaouira.
You are right about the tourists, although I didn't find it too bad, especially in the mornings and evenings, before and after the day trippers from Marrakech descended on the city.

Hola Jorge,
No matter where we are travelling but important is what the travels give us. Doing El Camino must be an expectional internal experience. I wish you all the best on your way.
