Hi jill,
actually my goal was expressing the joy i had,there..your comment made me believe, that i hit the nail;)thanks for your beautiful words:)
Yeah, I went vintage! I liked the idea of retro photos sported by celebrities on their Twitter pages, so I borrowed it. I am hoping this also will reduce the number of 'love attacks' on my globo profile from pseudo-members, when they see that my age profile does not correspond with the photo...

thank you for your comment and your question. I uploaded a second picture to show the size. Those rocks are situated along the Indus, there are more on both sides of the river.

Many thanks for your note. About China.... I realise that my log, which was written on emotions as things were unfolding, and which might sound a little hair rising. Well, at least it reflected how I felt on the trip.
But China is not all bad! There were spots that impressed me, although less than I would have thought (I guess I have been to too many places around the world...) and I have a feeling that had I gone to more rural places in China, I would have enjoyed them more and would have found them more authentic.
I really liked parts of Xi'an, Chengdu and Nanjing, and a few places around Datong were really great. I hope I will convey that message in reports, writing them from a safe place, having had a chance to properly reflect on the events and my impressions. I think more people read the reports and I want them to be objective rather than emotive, yet containing all the facts to ensure they are fair and true.
