I had a chance to Live in Ipswich, in Suffolk in UK quite some time for a brief period. This town has one of the best Soccer Teams in UK..and is nice place to live
Ipswich, in the county of Suffolk is a nice small town that is located atleast 70 miles off london. I wouldnt be able to give statisitics about the size or population, but can say..the people are friendly and is highly cosmopolitan. You would find a lot of Asian population living here., thanks to the industry..that has developed around this lil town. British Telecom has a major set up here..that has employed possibly more than 5000 people at this location.

The town center is small, nice, just the same as any other town centers..
What's really great:
It was my first visit in the UK..so i liked everything
Accommodations:
I had an apartment of my own, but there are B&B accomodations that start from 20 GBP a night..which are pretty decent.
You could get weekly rates of 60 GBP..at not so nice places..
Nightlife:
The PALS..close to the Ipswich Bus Station is the Best..
Restaurants:
Did not try much of the restaurants here..
Other recommendations:
Close to Cambridge, Norwich, Colchester ..lots of places to visit..
