Something to remember is that the Youth Hostel Auburge International de Montreal is almost luxurious. There are 2 private rooms with Queen beds that are great as a romantic retreat!
Favourite spots:
Canadian Centre for Architecture Sculpture Garden was amazing. 1.3-acre, landscaped public park and garden with 11 sculptures designed by Montreal artist and architect Melvin Charney.
What's really great:
The crepes and the cool Australian I met in my hostel room.
