A big thank you for finding the time to read and rate my report. Indeed it was fabulous journey and Normandy is a wonderful region. Although I have been there in 2006 I wrote the report only now. But it brought me so many nice memories that work on the report was a big pleasure :)

I try to do my best, happy if I can write something interesting
and to share my fresh knowledge with others.
But as you know - it is not always so simple and I - the backpacker cannot spent much money for this...

Thank you for your words of appreciacion. Now I have easy access to internet from my little tablet so I can upload short text every day. In most cheap guesthouses in Nepal they already offfer free wi-fi connection. Sorry, uploading pictures is not so simple since I have them on camera card and the files are heavy to transmite. Next week I plan to be home and then to upload also imagas for you...

note that the site has become quiescent lately. no new members of the month, no response to requests for cities and villages not yet included in the database like old forge ny among others. do hope the site is not going down.

hi, p - thanks for visiting the latest airplane shots. i go in and out of nyc airports five or six times a year, occasionally get lucky with clear weather and a polarizing lens. but yes, that hudson river shot is tough to get, requires a westerly takeoff from la guardia and the plane climbs quickly.
meanwhile, hope you have been well. i have had too little time for this. have a joy filled holiday season. n.

thanks for visiting the vermeer center with me, spent hours there going thru as many pictures in great detail as our travel companions would allow. saw the movie with scarlett johanssen, slow but i watched right till the end. vermeer and breughel are my favorite old masters.

Thanks so much for your kind words...
I try to do my best.
sometimes it is not easy (to carry the whole day extra 2 kilo-notebook around the big city to
find eventyaly the free wi-fi) or to stay in the cold in front of the closed library in Alaska.
I will add pictures when the upload will be free
better connection and more time. Promise!
