Hieronyma: She is a bookworm, who is not able to let books alone, she is a traveller who travels not to arrive, she is a knitter, who knits to think things over, she is a hiker who hikes to have nature as a counterpart. Who talks to her?

Strangers are people you haven't yet met!.

Hi Christl, I stumbled over your site while perusing davidx's site, I am very new to this and virtually illiterate with computers and david has given me some very sound advice. I like your profile, it has the ring of a person who lives in the real world, I shall take the time to look at your gallery, and, with your permission, maybe make a comment or two. I resisted getting a computer for a long time, old fashioned I suppose, but Globo has opened a whole new world for me and I will persevere with the workings of this infernal machine, Kindest Regards, Tony.

I see with joy that your Baltit Fort report is on the first place with thirteen 5 points rate, 100 % success. I hope that you will earn a well deserved RoM in January.
Insha’Allah!

Hanging Gardens of Babylon

Christl, have a look at this site:

Still Babylonia is a wonder. I went there in the year 2003 and I felt in the seventh heaven. I loved the place.

Iraki geardens

Hehehe... it is true, Christl. I also did not pay attention. I thought that you mean some gardens in Babylonia, place that I visited, but in war times I did not see any gardens anymore in babylonia. Perhaps they were there in the times of Harun Al Rashid.

Your comments on my Iraqui report

Christl, thanks for your benevolent comments on my report of Irak. I was lucky to be there during two weeks before the last war.

Guten Morgen, Christl,

that's a good idea to discover unknown parts of our country - I'd like to do the same. Up to now I have only seen the eastern parts of Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden and Weimar. And: I love the Baltic Sea. Some years ago I spent 3 weeks on Rügen ('Mutter-Kinder-Kur') and it was so great.
Hast du den Pullover auf deinem profile pic selbst gestrickt? :)

Christl, that is all I have.
On August 2008 I took the train between Fairbanks and Anchorage and admired the Denali, but did not climb it.
