Hieronyma: She is a bookworm, who is not able to let books alone, she is a traveller who travels not to arrive, she is a knitter, who knits to think things over, she is a hiker who hikes to have nature as a counterpart. Who talks to her?

In Vietnam, a tourist towns are along the route Hanoi - Saigon.
Each journey perpendicularly to this route will move you away from the tourists. I hope :)

Vietnam, Cambodia

Thanks Hieronyma for record in my guestbook.
I am impressed by my trip to both countries.
In Vietnam travel is easy, country is open for tourism.
Same in Cambodia, but only in Pnom Penh and Siem Reap.
To see something original you need to depart from the main tourist routes.
Sure, I am ready to answer any question.
Maybe I'll find time to publish a report :)

Accident!

Hi Christl, thanks for your message, I keep meaning to write but things get in the way, I had a blackout and a fall which put me into intesive care and also put 16 stitches in my forehead, caused concussion and very bad visual distortions, I am fine now but have been advised to stay in familiar surroundings for 6 months to enable my original stroke/sight damage to continue to recover I shall badly miss the trip but it must wait till next year, maybe the Spring, same place, same trip!My warmest regards to you, Tony.
