What a fantastic journey!!! Southern Georgia’s, norwegian Bouvet, Malvinas, St Helena… Congratulations.
Unfortunately during that time I will be enjoying the French Polynesian islands of Bora Bora, Moorea, Marquises....
Maybe next time, within a few years, we can travel together to the moon!
Cheers

Hi Wojciech!!
I'm glad to read you again.
I hope that your journey was great as all the others ... I was a real follower of your asian adventures and was a surprise to see that you where going back to Africa.
Yeah! The Kenya-Ethiopia border was hard and difficult ... a long journey .. it took me 6 days from Nairobi to Addis!!!
But was fine, just another adventure to talk about.
Anyway I'm finishing with Ethiopia ... I'm sad cause was impossible to get the Sudan Visa at the embassy in Addis Abeba!!
I see serious dificulties to finish my journey as I would like but anyway I'm now near Gonder and I will go to the Border with Sudan to try to bribe someone ... money talk!!
I hope it will work ... if not I will go to Djibouti and Yemen to try to find a ship or something to Egypt.
Will see what happens.
Wish the best for you.
Dani!

kasha Herkules

Wojciech, what an interesting travel log! Congratulations!!!
Hotels in Alma Ata are expensive, but I want to inform you that I tried in the main bus station, in one of the floors, I do not remember which one, there is a komunalnaya kvartira, type obshejitiel, very cheap. Say that you are a driver in Poland and that your truck is in the garage. There sleep the drivers of the buses and they pay less. Only hide well your belongings under your pillow and everything will be OK. Otherwise, in the Railway station (there are two, but I do not remember in which one) women offer you a komanata in their houses for much less than 3500 tenge, and for breakfast they will give you kasha Herkules.
Good luck
