Your guest book welcome is perfect for present state

Hi
Keep on keeping on!!!
Look how your philosophy is working out.
Dont worry about the camera. Your words in your log are recording everything better than any camera could.

Once long ago I had ameeting with a bank in Poznan but only a tee-shirt for clothes. The airline left my luggage in London.

The very friendly bank agreed to postpone the meeting until next day.
Also in those years, 1991 and 1992 in russia I learned to wash my clothes and often came home to surprise my wife with no laundry to be done.

Keep up the great information. It is better than any thriller.
Hugh

...you are doing something that many can only dream of - pure adventure, regardless of political and economical idiosyncracies. We love your travellog, wish more members would use this feature. I always dream of adventurers like yours and new surroundings and experiences. Youre touching on some of the scenery very close to my heart - Africa, a continent I know but do not really yet understand.

Travel Help

The crossing you are going through is open only in the summer. This year it closes on September 19th for the winter, so no worries about crossing here. It it open all week from 7am to 8pm. Hope you see this in time!

As for Waterton, I say go to the townsite and check out Waterton Lake. I haven't had a chance to visit recently, so I can't offer much in the way of sightseeing help. If you have time, drive the Going-To-The-Sun road in Glacier National park (just south of Waterton). That drive is amazing!

Moorea – happy photo memories!

Posted: 2004-08-14 10:14 PM
Hi Wojtek,

Thank you so much for reading and rating my Moorea report. I value your comments, observations and congratulations on my work very much.

When I revisited, all too briefly last year, I had just changed my 35 mm SLR camera, to a little digital Sony Cybershot, (which took all of the pictures published in that article). I am so glad that I made the move to digital photography; it’s so much cheaper than 35mm and far less hassle when travelling.

Of course the bonus was the wonderful natural light in that part of the world which illuminates and enhances any photo subject and makes ordinary pictures into something a bit better!

Thanks again Wojtek,

Cheers,

Brit

I will be traveling to Nigeria in August of this year, what a lovely photo of the area. Can you share some of your experiences about the area?
