Thank you for your comment on my report on Alcida, and your compliment on my flower pics...:-)
Do you have an article from your home-town/village? It's difficult to tempt someone to visit an area. Those visitors are almost unable to grasp and hear of the 'secrets' and 'history' of the places and therefore are unable to appreciate it as much as the people who live there.
I believe that every little place on earth is a treasure to discover. I'd love to hear about your home town, and I'll stop there, make the detour, next time I'm in Germany.

Hi Sabine,

Good to see that you are enjoying your Globo membership, whilst keeping us all enthralled with your interesting articles. Alghero is a particularly good read!

Primarily, I think your London slide show from a walk along the Thames is excellent. I have never taken a camera on my frequent visits to London - you have inspired me to pack it next time!

America's South West slide show bought back many memories of our similar trip in 2000. Scenery to die for and lots of history in New Mexico.

I just read in the comment of britmans kenya article that you are going to south africa in september.
I just wanted to tell you that our luggage was lost in johannesburg when we flew to botswana, people told us that this happens often. It might be advisable to pack some useful things in your handluggage in order to survive the first few days befor your luggage turns up again... It might be helpful.

Congratulations on writing the July 2004 Report of the Month. The article is such a great read and has some lovely pictures. Incidentally, love your Mykonos report too! I'm delighted to see a fellow Brit win something at last ;-). Keep up the travelling and of course the writing and photography. I hope that you are enjoying Globo membership as much as I am.

Great pictures indeed !! Being someone who moved back to India after 25 years in England it made me suddenly homesick !! Keep the wonderful work going. Add some more fotos especially fotos of gloourios english countryside. Best Wishes,
