Thanks Amanda for another great report. It looks like you had a great experience in Hawaii and so glad you tried cruising. We weren't so sure about it ourselves but once we tried it, we really enjoyed it. Great info and pics, too!

that's the problem with Mother Nature, isn't it?
I would also like to see the Northern Lights, but you can't be sure of them making an appearance either.
Still, it looks like you had a fantastic time, even without any natural disasters! ;-)

You posted great photos from Hawaii. They have opened my eyes onto Hawaii, which I have not given too much thought to visit. I really like those from Kona. Are you going to make an Aloha Album?

I am not a cruiser at heart either but had the luck to do a four day cruise in the Yasawa islands in Fiji as part of a large wedding party. I would not have chosen this way to travel but it was indeed a magical experience to wake up at a new place everyday!
Travelling is about being open to new experiences!
