Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Hello,
thanks for your kind comment on my hiking report. Hiking is something I don't do enough unfortunately. That is why I enjoyed that walk so much. Museums and churches are wonderful too but there is something special in walking so close to the nature.
Best wishes
Irene

Hi Rudi,
I hope to visit there some day - made it to Portugal but never been to Spain. Thanks for sharing your visit.

Oktoberfest pictures

Rudi,
Your pictures from Oktoberfest are gorgeous. You managed to capture its atmosphere and you're making a great advertising campaign for Oktoberfest on Globo :) This makes me want to join the folk in Munchen and enjoy exquisite German beer with them. Well done!
Best,
Adam

Rudi,
I hadn't realised that you visited Barcelona as well; I just read your report. I loved the picture of the La Sangrada Familia - captured from a nice spot.
All the best

Thanks for comments

Hi Rudi,
Thanks for comments on my report. It was the first so I was little bit afraid how the Globies will react. But it's ok, and some people have even read it. I also appreciate every comment, it help me a lot do better reports in the future.
I am not sure also about my english level :)
Anyway I liked Budapest a lot, I hadn't time to see a half of attractions there, so maybe one day I will be back there. But now I have others destinations on my wish list, and Latvia report to write :)

Hi Rudi,
thank you. it was a real pleasure to write the report and I had to shorten it quite a bit to stay within the space limits!
As to the World Cup, they have big clocks counting down the days in several places in the city and I do hope it will be a successful event. There is a lot of building work going on, especially at Green Point where the new stadium is being built. I do hope it will be all ready by then. What I'm worried about is the public transport system and whether the people who made the sport so popular in SA will actually be able to afford the tickets. I somehow doubt it.
All the best

Hi Rudi,
to be honest, I'm very proud to win a prize here because there are so many really good fotos and albums online. :-))
For me it is fantastic to have won this. Especially my colombian girl friend will be more proud of her country (and myself...).
I have some information and pictures left from my last visit to present here. Hopefully I will find the time to publish them in October.
ciao, Joe

Thank you, Rudi, for your kind words. As to the pictures, all were taken by myself (except for one or two in one of the reports on the Ukraine that were taken by a friend of mine). I take hundreds of photos when I go somewhere. My 7-day long stay in Prague resulted in more than 800 pics. I love taking them and it is always fun for me to choose the best and share on Globo.
Best,
Adam

We had great days in the alps and your generous comment is a perfect footnote to our experirnce. We also found it breath-taking.
