Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Thanks

Rudi,
Thanks for reading my Gunung Agung report. It is a bit difficult to use the standard Globo structure when writing about a mountain. There is no accommodation, no restaurants, no hangouts, no nightlife.

What we need is another Globo template for mountains, lakes etc. A photo report would be a good solution. A long time ago I suggested this to Andy but he never answered. It starts as a report but headings have no title. The main feature of each paragraph is the photo, but the accompanying text is almost equally important. Each paragraph contains between 500 and 1000 characters. The photos may show a continuous story or highlights of a particular city. In the currents slideshows, not enough text can be added. besides they are impossible to find because there is no databank like the one for report finding.

Besides, I can't do a slide show as I have already used up my slideshow quota of 3 shows.

Flag?

Posted: 2007-05-22 04:08 AM
Hi Rudi,
I am not good at flags. Which one are you holding in your profile picture?
Thanks for reading my Bali report. There are more to come. Bali is nice but certainly not my most favourite place in Indonesia. Still we had a nice time especially because it was a family holiday. Quite fun to be together with our two grown up children and their partners.

Plane spotting is simply ideal in Jimbaran. After five days we know the times when certain planes would take off and land and what airlines. I like to look at them, but cannot call myself a spotter. Although I do go to Eindhoven airport and sit in the spotters' place where all aircraft fly right overhead.

Vlatava

Rudi,
Nice impression of the banks of the Vlatava river. Did you notice that NO 19 doesn't show? Why are some of the photos purplish red? Are they old ones? I have a whole series of photos taken late 1970s early 1980s that have the same colour. I suppose it was the kind of film I used. One that wasn't to last forever.

Good morning,
Thank you for your lovely comments on my travel tip. Oribi is changing so fast though. More visitors means more interference with nature so I am praying that the Parks Board controls it to keep the balance.
I am happy to revive good memories for you.
Have a really great week.

Hi Rudi
Thanks for the comments on my Madeira reports. No, I've not been on a course. New Canan camera and more attention - I'm glad it's paid off in some photos but I shall continue to upload some for reasons other than quality.
I hope you like my slide-show on Madeirs when it's finished.
Cheers
David

Hi Rudi,
Thanks for your positive feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed my Hong Kong Report.
It really rained when we there so we had just had to make the most of it so I found it harder than normal to write my report.
I notice that you label yourself a "lazy" writer & although I don't know whether that is true but I agree with you they take a lot of time of effort to put together.
Thanks again,
Cheers,
Kerrie
