Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Thanks for the comment and vote. Much appreciated. Yeah, I'm truly a beach bum at heart. I remember when I was 19 and hitching around Europe, I had some money stolen in Italy, so I backtracked up to France where I lived 2 weeks on the beach at Nice by night, and Villefranche by day. Beach bums unit! lol

Rudi,
thank you for your congratulation.
The trick for such a journey is to go there, before or after the tourists have arrived or have left. It's beautiful out there.

I do agree with that, would have liked to take the pic from a higher point but I was in another bridge and that was almost imposible, anyway, that was a precious twilight!
I have been giving a look at your pics and must say they're relly great. Will drop some comments as well!
Best wishes!

Your comment on my report about Reykjavik
Posted: 2007-02-16 04:21 AM
Hi Rudi!
Thank you for your comment. It wasn't quite summer, but spring, and spring was 14 days late. So the Icelandic world was dark and black, but when I came back in Septemner, the town was colourful and joyful and I could see the mountains around Reykjavik, althouigh they had already snowy tops.

snow photos

Hi Rudi,
Thanks for reading and rating my Zermatt report (I love the decimals you use). These were my first digital photos of snow. I am quite pleased with the outcome. Experimented a bit and only one or two came out too blue. The rest is just perfect white snow. This makes me very happy with my Canon Ixus, far better than the Olympus (which I still have, as I have all my other cameras, most of them still in perfect working order)

Hey Rudi,
Thanks for reading and rating my report on Livingstone.
I really enjoyed looking at your aerial shots of the area. I must admit I would live to go again to see it in full flow. Whislt it an incredible experience, I need more.
All the best
