Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Thank you for stopping by my Gaeta travel report and for commenting so kindly. I really enjoyed my time there and no doubt on my next visit, the mausoleums and castles will be visited again.
Thank you,
Carole.

Thank you Rudy; I have been too busy all over February andI even could not find a minute to upload my 100 photos and I lost all my February rights. I hope I will have time by the end of the current month.
Bye.

Thanks for your glowing comment on my Heptonstall page. It's lucky I went on a late photo hunt yesterday - or I should have been advocating a visit to a museum that's been closed for several years!
Cheers, David

Hi Rudi
thank you for pointing out some spelling mistakes...
I did my best to correct it I tried to find out what the thistle plant really is called but my search on the net didn't provide an answer so far, I'll have to do it again... ;-)
I'm happy that you are giving so much energy into GLOBO lately! Your posts are always very interesting and give good inputs for newbies, it seams as though you took over a little bit from the task I was starting... thank you for joining in the effort. I too will try to contribute more than I did in the last few months... I had some troubles that bothered me and therefore I wasn't really in the mood to do more.
Have a great time

hi!
firstly thank u for viewing my pics and for the praises you give me...
must say that i was lucky to have 2 tour guides who were always telling me where the best angles were to shoot pics and for always giving me plenty of time to shoot my pics!! i took close to 2000 pics on this trip! luckily, i brought my lap top along and was able to download my pics immediately.
btw.. autumn pic of melb was my wallpaper for my laptop until the pyramids came along!!... must thank my bf again for bringing me there!
alas... no more pics to download... will write reports now..
speak soon,
cheers

Thanks for your comment on my Orlu report. I think that I am completing my European ones with photos [for the time] with one on Helsinki. I shall then do a number on the UK and France, mostly without photos – though I hope to add some later.
Cheers, David

Shanghai Surpise

Rudi,
Thanks for your comments; it is amazing the growth which is happening in Shanghai. It is very topical at present as they are seeing the split between urban and rural widen which goes against their communist views.
