Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

The Great ole US of A

You will have a fab time in Arizona. It is so different to Europe, with the desert sun, the red rock, the cactus, and Native American Indians.
One word of warning, it gets really busy in the summer months.
But have a great time.

Thank You!

Hi Rudi,
Thank you so much for your message and your most flattering comments! It sounds silly but I have never deliberately aimed at reaching the number one GLOBOsapiens spot. Numbers and the “so called status” of being the “primus inter pares” don’t really turn me on!
The Number one spot has been reached temporarily by me simply because I have happened to upload all my digital pictures held on computer. I seem to take more pictures than most because I can’t keep my finger off the shutter button! (Truly what is more important, I don’t lose them forever if my computer crashes!).
I expect to see regular changes to the GLOBO membership top members list – it is certainly an achievable moveable feast for all!
Thank you so much for your message and your own most valuable contribution to this great website.
Cheers, Brit

Rudi,
I loved the humour of your photos, and your love of the desert.
I must say that I could not agree with you more about our mortality.
I find here in UK we are trying to replace the absolute values of life (enough to eat and drink and somewhere to sleep) with false values of spending more on trivia.
I especially enjoyed you slide show, thank you for the pleasent and humourus trip.

Works both ways

I particularly valued your comments on my Prague report because I was a bit afraid of how it might seem with some excellent stuff already there. I certainly tried to avoid undue repetition.
That of course works both ways - it means I have given very sketchy coverage to aspects well covered by others - churches and gardens for instance.
