Hi folks, I became an early pensioner in 2015 and now have a 50m² apartment in München-Laim with sunny balcony. This is the first time in my life that I am living alone. Now enjoy my hobbies!

Hi Rudi,
I am just happy to know that you take the time to vote for photos. I usually do, when I first find someone's site. I never quite get the voting thing anyway. Some photos that I think are spectacular, end up with low ratings. Anyway, I just put up everything I have from my travels, hoping that it helps people who are interested in a place. I am happy when anyone actually likes them enough to vote. So thanks for the thought!
You are the second person that has mentioned "Picture Of The Year". Is there such a thing? Every photo of the month is always a great shot. That was a big surprise last month. One of my favorite photos too.

Rudi,
Thanks for your time in reading and rating the report as well as the picture from Mahabaleshwar.
A very wise statement indeed, about travel to different parts of the world to experience different cultures, improving the tolerance levels. Travel does help the emotional intelligence grow substantially.

Thank you for your congrats wishes.
And thank you for your comments on my pictures.. (blush) Myself, I find that it is a good picture but it lacks foreground. Don't you find so?

Frankly, I'm flattered that Andreas thought I deserved this. One reason I try to rate every report that comes up is that I'm always looking for where I'm going next! As for my Kyoto report, I was actually more proud of my Tokyo report with 20+ votes and a ***** rating. And I'd been working on the Mesa Verde report for 6 months but was never sure if it was good enough. Thanks to all of you, I guess it was! Thanks Rudi.
