This was some years ago, but it was a small train, perhaps there was something special going on, but I was too lost to notice.
What is wrong with your English, better than any of my foreign languages.
Re scanners, I do not have one as yet, but the one's I have had occasion to use, have given very good results, but am sure it will depend on the quality of the scanner.
I must consider it, as I have many thousands of slides and prints I could use.
Keep well

Daffodils
Posted: 2009-04-05 07:21 AM
Hello Petra
Glad you like the daffodils, I will have to make up a show of flowers from my garden.
I was looking at the pic of Cologne Cthederal, it brought back memories when I was there, got lost, and was suprised to see a train coming down the high street.
Had a wonderful holday there, we were visiting our son in Holland, so took a week motoring, France, Belgium, Luxambourgh, Switzerland, Italy and Austria, Back through Germany.
Unfortunately this was before I had a digital camera, I will have to scan a few.
Happy holidays Thomas

Hi Petra,

I have now looked at your slideshow again and it gets better each time! I once asked a friend "how do you define a weed?" the reply was "any plant that grows where you do not want it to" I now look at all plants in a different way, a single wild meadow flower can have as much beauty as a whole field of cultivated ones, well done again, Tony.

Little Africans

Hi Petra,
Many thanks for your praise. The album is not complete. I have many other pictures of children of Africa. The ones in the album are just a collection of those photos I had already submitted to Globo - same principle as with the sunsets... It will take time for me to select some other shots.
Kindest regards

Hi Petra,
What a delightful slide show you created with the photos of the flowers. It is very colourful and the pictures look like taken from a quality encyclopaedia. Congratulations!
Kindest regards

Thank you for your good wishes, I am very lucky in that I very rarely feel unwell (except with the occasional hangover) this bug may be an alien entity sent to punish me for all my bad deeds, hehe. Regards, Tony.

Hi Petra,
thank you very much for reading my Essaouira report and giving it such a good rating.
I had to cut a lot of info out as there just wasn't enough space! It really makes a difference if you stay in a relatively small place for a week, because you get to know it so well.
Thanks also, as always, for your comments on my photos.
Wuensch dir eine schoene Woche.
