Boston is a verry beautiful city to visit or live in. There are lots of joung people living there. You will always see somebody running (jogging) around. Living healthy is kind of 'in'! No matter where you go you will meet lots of friendly people of all cultures. Boston is one of the oldest cities in North America. So sometimes it remembered me a lot on Europe cities.

Favourite spots: |
The lake in the middle of down town. Sailing boats all over the place. Lots of green and not as many cars in the city center as you would expect for a eastern U.S. city.

What's really great: |
Walking around in the nice shopping and bar areas in down town. Lots of coool buildings and .. hey.. Boston is a walking city! There are paths and trails everywhere. By following one of the red lines painted on the ground you will get around the city in no time and see lots of great sights.

Sights: |
Check out the parks and of course Bacon Hill! One of the trails will take you there, for sure :-)

Accommodations: |
Hostelling International has an ok hostel in down town. Walkable from nearly every where in the city centre. A bit pricy though and totally overpopulated. If you can't get a room there you might want to try the other much cheaper (but not as far as comfy as the HI) around the city centre.

Hangouts: |
Lots of cool pubs around MIT and Harvard Campus.
