I came into Halifax by train and when we got off the train we had no idea where to go or what to do. Immediatly one of the workers came to talk to us and when we told him our situation he called his friend to come pick us up on his way downtown. This friend of his drove us downtown to a bus stop where he gave us great directions to the highway we wanted to get to. On the bus we made some more friends who told us a few things about the city and wished us well. Once we got to the highway, we started hitch-hiking to the small town where we were to meet a friend. We were picked up within 2 minutes by a great guy and his dog who we visited with for the 20 km. While in Wolfville we met some wonderful people and had a great time.

I didn't really visit around Halifax too much, the bus and train station were really great! Wolfville was awesome, great people, lots of students because of the great university there.

What's really great: |
I really like downtown, the architecture and history is beautiful. Really though, the people are the special part of visiting Halifax, if you want to go somewhere to party and meet great people, go to Halifax.
