Loei is the capital of Loei province located on the north eastern part of Thailand. This place is very extreme where during winter in the highlands the temperature will drop to about 0 degrees and during summer it will be the hottest place in Thailand.

I was going to this place in-between Loei and Dansai to visit a winery but unfortunately we miss the entrance and we had to got myself stranded in Dansai. In Dansai there is a laotian chedi which is square base.

| What's really great: |
|
The weather, when I arrive in Loei from Bangkok it was really really cold, I was just in my shorts and T-shirts.

| Accommodations: |
|
I didn't thought of actually putting up a night in Loei as I wanted to visit the wineyard but I arrive too early in Loei and had to put up a night first.

Its a very small town, we just had some simple thai food
|

Yes i agree it can get cold here. I camped in the National Park with Thai and Korean friends. Camping and singing under the amazing stars was a great experience.
