Very lovely to hear from you, Andy! It's been a long year with a lot of challenges, but I'm glad this community is still growing and thriving. I look forward to being a more active member in 2008!
Great photographs. The Fockerstein Mountains in the mist made me think of Hokusai's paintings. He did a lot of Mt. Fuji in the mist with the same kind of coloring.
thanks for sharing.

Sorry I had gone walkabout when you came to chat. I just felt that I must always seem to be complaining about something and it would be good to have an ordinary conversation! Some other time perhaps.
Cheers
David
How do I decrease the kbs on my pictures to less than 500?? all my pics are way above that.....got loads to put up...hope your well...this is really taken off...hopefully loads more should be joining too from my travels...been away for 1.5 years in Aus and N.Z. got loads to share....
thanks for your comment on my picture of the Yosemite Park. I made the picture from a viewpoint that i passed on my way to the Glacier Point. The Glacier Point is actually an even more impressive view point. Have you been there? If not...well the Yosemite Park is so beautiful it is also worth a second visit :)

Andy,
I just wanted to let you know that I am off on a two-week holiday this evening, so that I cannot follow developments about improvement of member growth.

Hi Andy,
I enjoyed the above slide show as it was so unusual. I can't imagine that it would be easy and I get the feeling that the water would be very chilly!
Did you try it yourself?
Cheersa,
Kerrie

... "comming home again" to me is also just as pleasurable as travelling! My same pc, refrigerator, bath, toilet, bed .... enjoy these too again!
Sorry that the HW problems show now, and jet-lag doesnt help you much either. We are patient, can understand the technical difficulties to be solved...
