Hi V-K
Thanks for sharing your experiences of the zoo. I think only a narrow and pedantic definition would deem this not to be travel related - which ought to teach some to guard against untenible generalisation.
Good to see you contributing a lot again.
Best wishes

VK,
I love taking photos of birds, but it is difficult as they fly away the moment I arrive. But with a digital camera it is so much easier as i start shooting when I am still relatively far away. I usually only keep one photos.

Hi Vicky,
Lovely photos that give a good impression of the zoo. It looks very attractive with the stream and the green trees. It looks as if the animals are in more or less natural surroundings, but that is what most zoos try to do these days. The quality of your photos is excellent.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see much of Italy, all I wanted to do was ski. I flew into Turin airport and then had a two hour drive to the mountains. But this in its self is wonderful, as the countryside is so pretty even in winter. The best part about skiing is that I was out in the fresh air ALL day.
The resort was quite small, which is brilliant as there were no long queues for the chairlifts etc and you get to know the various instructors and ski patrols which is always nice for free lessons.
China sounds fab; I have a colleague who will be going there in August, she'll be adding Japan to her trip also. Have you decided what region you will be exploring?
