I'm back in London now and working, my holiday seems a millions miles away. But at least I have my sun 'glow' to remind me of how wonderful my Christmas vacation was...

Hi and thanks. I've had a very pleasant message from Brit as well. I don't expect to stay at the top for long and I actually hope not to - because that means I shall be able to see the excellent contributions from those who pass me.
Cheers, David

You tell me the models are robust and touchable, that is amazing! In Johannesburg most the models are made from plywood and balsa with weather protetion sprayed on 'em. See my Bruxelles picture and you will see fences and paths and signs every where every where comanding "dont touch! RR

Hi V-K
Thanks for these. I'm glad they chose York Minster among their replicas and that you chose it for an early place in your show. The full size one is one of my very favourite buildings.
Have you been to York? It's one of our most interesting cities.
Cheers, David

Many thanks for your message, great to hear from you... I have only been to a few places however, my research is for the places that I am going to go too - I am working on the 'trip of a life time' this year, a round the world trip later on in the year so after that I can tell you all about where I have been!
