I loved Salzburg! Yes it wasn't a really major town but I still discovered things to do on my 3rd day there. The foothpaths from Monchsberg have numerous lookouts where it wasn't so crowded like elsewhere else but still offered great view of the mountains and the city. I took a half day tour up Eagle's nest but unfortunately it was so cloudy visibility didn't even go beyond 5 metres.. I love to take pictures so this city offered me loads of nice scenery. I would love to post of of my pics them all up if not for the limit.
How bout you? Did you enyoy it there and where else did you cover on your last trip in Europe?

Hi VK
I am not used to grading two of anybody's pics as 5* on the same day but I did here. I guess I may be a bit of a sucker for things like the dolls' house, where the skill of the craftsman blends with that of the photographer. [I'll take Chippendale's some time that he did as his masterpiece [literally]. It's at Nolton Priory near Wakefield.
However you can have all the credit to yourself for St Blaize's.
Thanks for the pleasure.
Cheers, David

how re you?I think you didnt look my pictures according to posted date, because I ve sent a few pictures about phoenix, los angeles, san francisco and new york. I liked San francisco very much, it has a lof of nice bridges, sceneries, but I missed Turkish food so much, I didnt like american style, everthing is big there, hamburgers, people ( fat i mean:-) )
After I returned istanbul, i told myself home is the best, thank God!
Merci bien for the nice comments. Much appreciated. And I see you're a fellow Canadian. Actually, I have been to New Brunswick, and I loved it there. I took some great photos during my trip (hard not to take good photos in Canada), but the details of my trip are sketchy since it was about 10 years ago.
Anyway, thanks for the nice comments,
Cheers,
Mike
