Hi Mag's
Just thought I'd let you know I lived in Newcastle for 27years so there's a connection apart from the travel.
Am going back to Nepal on 26th May for 10 days but wish it was forever and will find leaving heartbreaking...yet again!!

Hello again. Thanks for your kind words. Nowadays I love to take lots of photos when I travel... I just can't wait to post all of them up!

Greetings...
I was just flipping through your Singapore pics.. The building's name in question in one of your pics is called Parkview Square. It's an office building, but it's architecture is unique in Singapore, especially it's ground floor and lobby. Did you just do Singapore or covered a few countries together?

Thanks belatedly for your message. I always forget to check the guestbook!
My plans have changed somewhat since I emailed you. Unfortunately I won't make it to the north of Thailand as I opted to go from Cambodia to Laos instead but it should be exciting!!

Thanks Mags; I guess that you are referring to the Esmeralada slideshow! Don't forget that Tahiti is a tiny speck in the middle of the huge Pacific ocean and that all our life here is under the influence of the sea and sea concerns.

I don't know about the bias - sometimes it's possible to neglect the attractions close to where you live.
I think it's a fine area but I personally shouldn't equateit with the Torridon Highlands, Skye or Glencoe.
Cheers D
