Hi Willow... I hopped over and read the most recent entries on your blog. You sound like a truly nice person, and a thoughtful traveler, and I'm sure you'll be a geat asset to this community. I have a blog, too, but mostly I have been just putting in notices about things I am doing, not getting as reflective as you do.
I sympathize with you, I also have a parent who is in the midst of serious illness, which is keeping me from escaping to Central & South America as I had planned. If you don't mind, I will probably be asking for your advice about Argentina, Peru, etc., when I get a chance to start planning again.
Anyway, feel free to write anytime, especially if you are lonely or sad or otherwise in need of some supportive words.

Did you read in the newpapares in Argentina that we in Holland have a new-born Crown Princess? And she is half Argentinian?
