Thanks for your comments on my Orense pictures. It is a very pleasant Galician town. I am sure that you would enjoy it if you would travel there in the future. I think that there are direct flights Dublin to La Coruņa or Vigo.

Hugh, the first version could really been missed because it ended up on the last page of my foto list. After a relaunch with corrected color settings and brightness (because of taken through a glass window in a slightly misty atmosphere late that day) it came to number three and now it is PoM. :-)

you are having great and accurate insights, thank you very much for your time accorded to this picture and for your sentences. In my childhood in January around the 20th as I remember, one of our teachers took us on sleighs to watch the stars at the midnight. We were really naughty, but on those nights, staring upwards at the stars we remained quiet, although we were around 10-14 on the sleighs... the night was clear and cold and the heaven seemed so close

I'd like to thank you for all your interesting comments on my pictures from Madurai. My 'seemingly rude/irresponsive behaviour', could be attributed to my rather busy schedule with work and family. The only time I spent here was busy stealing time to complete my Mumbai report.

I been to London a few times but never made it to Ireland. Maybe we could round up a few more people and plan a trip to your homeland.
Do we get people to get involved via a forum? We need to get Sabine to let us know when she has time to go back to Ireland.

Hugh, I don't think I have a photo of the chicken thief, but I am not quite sure as the I haven't downloaded my photos yet. We were in Aachen last Thursday. I have almost finished writing a report about our trip. It is quite close to Eindhoven and we go regularly because we like German bread and buy several loaves, have a Wiener Schnitzel for lunch and go back home.
I visited the 'exotic' Dutch attraction late in life. It is absolutely fun to watch the other visitors and I can recommend them.
