harrah's

yes, hugh, that was indeed a real sky over harrah's, an item not frequently seen in vegas. it used to be said that the decor of the malls and casinos, including the faux skies, were intended to make gamblers lose total track of time and just keep gambling. indeed the bellagio hotel cafe offers a full menu of breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between 24 hours a day since people coming from the casino will have no clue as to what time it is unless they check their watch. no clocks anywhere. appreciate your continued interest. n.

ireland and las vegas

your latest images of ireland are really pretty. i know people who have been and they just rave about the scenery. you have captured some really nice settings.

appreciate your visiting again to my las vegas efforts, and glad you like the picture with the buildings in shadows and the mountain - i wish i could say i planned it that way but sometimes one just gets lucky.

have a good week. n .

las vegas

wanted to thank you for visiting my las vegas images. yes, we were for an instant also confused by the trompe l'oeil ceilings which are very popular there, in at least three malls we visited. it is said that the buildings there are constructed so that one never knows what time it is, particularly in the casinos.
