Thanks for your kind welcome, much appreciated. I looked at your photos taken in Ireland. Brilliant! My wife and I have just retired and are hoping to spend more time together travelling around. Seems a brilliant site, this, but am trying to get around it first before uploading my pictures, (notice my self-denigration bit there? I spoke of your photos, but my pictures!!)

it´s about 12 years ago, that I visited Ireland the last time. When I look at your pictures, I know, it is too long ago.

Thanks for your welcome message in my guestbook! Unfortunately, it was lost together with my profile and I had to re-register again. Andy said that it was the first time happened in 5 years...Anyway I still enjoy surfing and plan to write some reports about my travel.

By the way, your pictures are really great!

Congratulations! The first GLOBOaward is the best and never the last? You live in a beautiful country but a good photograph is always difficult to really get the atmosphere captured. You did it!

Nice work, I really like the picture that you received the POM award. It has a 'painting' like feel, nicly captured.

It is always very fine to see some words from you on my guest book. I cant help myself commenting on your pictures since they are really different from the other globo members' pictures. Please keep on shooting :)

thank you for your comment. These people were so relaxed and friendly, it was such a relaxation, coming from Europe with all its disssatisfaction, to listen to the stories about their simple life.
