Hi Bert,
I recall that I had to do the same with pop ups some months ago - although my current browser does not present the same problem. If you get further problems just email Andreas (Andy) and ask his advice - he will advise immediately.
Great to look at your tremendous pictures and looved that first report!
All the best for 2005,
Cheers Brit

Webshots
Posted: 2005-01-04 02:45 AM
Hi again, I was looking at another Globosapiens member's guestbook when I found you. I have been a member of Webshots for a few years, but I haven't paid to become a premium member, so there are a lot of areas I can't access. 4500 photos? What an accomplishment!
Take Care,
James

Scanning is the way to go

Bert,
Thanks for visiting my web page also. Peru is a really wonderful place to visit, as is Australia and New Zealand.
However, it would be nice to see some pictures of your home town, as I have never been to French Polynesian. When I was in New Zealand I met a few guys from there working with the Jesus for latter day Saints church, biking around the South Island.
Regards
Misty

Hi Bertrand,
I was in another member's site and ran across your entry in their guestbook, so I thought I would check out your site. I am so glad that I did! You have some really incredible photos posted. This is part of what I enjoy about Globosapiens. The members are from such varied backgrounds. It's nice to find you.
Happy New Year!

Wonderful slide show

Deer Bertrand, you had made exelent slide show and by the way all of your images are outstending;-especially images with the sunsets.I bet Polynesian sunsets are one of the most picturesque in the world and you made it even
more attractive and breathtaking.
On your next visit to the Bay Area ,just let me know ,so I can show you some not touristy spots.
My best wishes to you and your family for the New 2005.
Cheers
Boris

Wonderfull Album Bertrand

Fantastic Slide Show you have on French Polynesia - a paradise! I wish the sunset pics were at the end but know there is currently no option to move pics down the list, only up (all of them???) Alternatively, delete them from the album (not from your picture list) and copy them back into the album, last copied pics are automatically be added to the end of the slide-show.

Slide Shows

Hi Bert,
Thanks for your guestbook posting. In order to answer your query here is what I do. Firstly, upload your pictures to GLOBO in the normal way....then to create the slide show click on slide show in the upload section and put in a photo from your GLOBO picture file. Then click on the individual photo's from your GLOBO picture file in the order that you want them to appear.
It is necessary to upload your pictiures to GLOBO first of all and of course get the requisite 10 points for each.
Hope this helps!

Sri Lanka - South & East Coast Tsunami Devastation
Posted: 2005-01-01 08:57 AM
Hi Bertrand,
Many thanks for reading and indeed rating my report on Sri Lanka. The tragedy for me is knowing that a most of the coastal places and hotels mentioned in my article have now been devastated by the tsunami of the 26th December 2004.
I am fearful that some of the very friendly coastal people that I met, including children, photographed by me, just one month earlier, may have perished. That thought haunts me!
I do hope that 2005 sees a happier and safer place in which to live and travel in.
Finally, congratulations on your great contribution since joining GLOBO - I hope that 2005 is an even better year!

Obidos memories

How good to see Obidos again in your pics - I thought it was terrific - but I'm glad I saw it out of season; I believe the crowds can be overpowering.
Happy New Year
David
