Thanks for your message, this is the first time that I have climbed to the top rung of the Globo ladder. It sounds silly but I have never deliberately aimed at reaching the number one GLOBOsapiens spot. Numbers and the “so called status” of being the “primus inter pares” don’t really turn me on!
The Number one spot has been reached temporarily by me simply because I have happened to upload all my digital pictures held on computer. I seem to take more pictures than most because I can’t keep my finger off the shutter button! (Truly what is more important, I don’t lose them forever if my computer crashes!).
I expect to see regular changes to the GLOBO membership top members list – it is certainly an achievable moveable feast for all!
Sp pleased that you decided to join GLOBO and contribute so much to this community.

I think I solved my problem. Anyway I managed to put some pictures now. And soon I'll try to upload some more.
See you

Thanks for the note. And.... well, to be honest, I have some sort of problems. I can't upload my pictures, becase they seem to be too big. I have one program that should help, but well, I don't know how. My computer-language isn't so good eather :)

Bert I was cringing when you joined Globosapiens thinking “he may discover my article on Moorea and even worse, may actually read it and shock horror – expose my myths to the world by saying how a true Polynesian resident sees it!” . Seriously, I am glad that you approve of it and flattered that you award it *****. Thank You.
I have only been to French Polynesia twice, yes I know that I am lucky - most people only ever dream of going there once. I loved Tahiti too and would love it if you could someday write an article on it yourself. You certainly have the photos to illustrate it.
You have photographed the super Beachcomber Hotel , tell us all about the food trucks on the wharf where I dined cheaply, almost nightly. I can remember travelling around the island and stopping up country near to a French Foreign Legion camp and ordering my baguette with jambon, fromage and delicious coffee. I recall thinking then, that this “legionnaire” lifestyle is far more idyllic than the films have you believe! Of course you have the Gauguin element too – I’m sure that you could write a book.
Thanks again and, more importantly, thank you for your superb contributions made to Globosapiens – almost daily!
